Welcome to the video series that’s all about climbing the ladder of vibration and manifesting the life of your dreams. I’m Stephanie Mulac and today we are going to be talking about defining your own excellence.
What I mean by this is that what excellence is to you can be very, very different than it is to the next person, and the next person, and the next. Take my own life for example. When we were traveling by RV, there were people who would look at our lifestyle and their definition of excellence was owning a huge home on sprawling land. And they would look at us and they would think, “Oh, they’re not exactly where they want to be in life.” Whereas in reality, our definition of excellence is we felt as if we had a rolling mansion on wheels and we had absolutely no desire to own a house, so that was not the definition for us of success or excellence.
And you see this so often when people are in situations where they’re letting other people impose their definitions and their values of success and excellence on one another. So you see, everything is really relative to what it is that you want, how you define excellence, what makes you happy. And what makes you happy is not necessarily what’s going to make the next person happy.
But you need to keep that in mind as you are going after your own goals and as you are setting your own standards of excellence because if you listen to somebody else, somebody’s traditional values or values that are not in alignment with what it is that you are defining as success or you are defining as your own excellence, then you may have the tendency to feel as if you’ve fallen short of a goal or fallen short of a true definition of excellence or success. When in reality, you have topped out and you have mastered what it is that you’ve set out to achieve, it’s just that it’s very personal and real to you as to how you define your own excellence.

And let me know an example of how you define your excellence. What is it that you are after in life that might be different than half of the rest of the world out there but is making you happy and is making you successful? And until next time, keep climbing that ladder of vibration.
