To Laugh Or Cry - The Choice Is Yours

Welcome to the video series that’s all about climbing the ladder of vibration and manifesting the life of your dreams. I’m Stephanie Mulac and today we are going to be talking about having fun with life. Now, that sounds kind of obvious, I mean, you know, you just wanna live life and have fun, but the habit that a lot of us get in to is we get so bogged down with to-do lists and requirements and jobs and being tired from working and running around and trying to get it all done and fit in a month’s worth of work in seven days’ time, that a lot of times we stop and forget how to have fun with it. And it’s really funny to us because my daughters and I realize how much fun we have with life when we’re hanging out with friends. Because a lot of times what happens is, is that we’re in the middle of conversations and somebody will say something and all of a sudden we start laughing about, not really an inside joke, but we start laughing about something that only the three of us understand.

And you’ve got this other person over there that we’ve gotta, okay, the reason we’re laughing is, da da da da da da da. And we go through and explain to them what it is that is having us laughing so hard. But, what we’ve come to realize is, is that this happens almost every time that we’re with other people. And it really brings home the point about how many of these funny moments my daughters and I have, and how this has become an integral part of our life, is just having fun with it. And many times the stories we’re telling somebody has to do with something that went wrong, or didn’t go as we had planned, or you know, something that in some families might have been seen as a total catastrophe. Like, there was a time when I asked my daughter to get me a pumpkin roll at Thanksgiving and she walked over to the refrigerator, grabbed the handle, opened it up and the entire door fell off in her hand, with everything that was on the door tumbling all over the floor.

And in that immediate moment, she sorta stood there, frozen, wondering what would happen. And collectively as a family, we all started laughing hysterically. I mean, of course, obviously, as soon as I made sure she was okay and nothing was harmed or injured. But in some families this would have been a catastrophe. But in our family it’s like, maybe just another day in the life of the Mulacs. But the reality is, is that we have a choice to either have fun with it or to turn it into something stressful or negative or oh my god, now there’s another problem that we have to do. And I challenge you to look at your own life and find the areas that you can have fun with. Look at ways that you can turn something that may be stressful or serious or something that is weighing heavy on you, and turn it into something fun. And all of a sudden, what you’re gonna find is it’s a whole lot easier to deal with and in many instances, it leaves you with a better memory or a better taste in your mouth then you had if you would’ve become stressful about it and let it get you down. So, my challenge to you is enjoy life. Even with the bumps and the stress and the strain. Go out there and laugh, lighten up and have fun with it.

  1. Thanks for your great suggestions. On those days when things go wrong, I often stop, start laughing and singing, or just recall wonderful things that have happened in my life (hold onto the memories for 17 seconds) and the sun will shine again immediately. – Thanks!
