Shopping Spree = Investing In Yourself?

Welcome to the video series that’s all about climbing the ladder of vibration, and manifesting the life of your dreams. I’m Stephanie Mulac, and today we’re going to be talking about guilt-free spending.

So, what exactly do I mean by guilt-free? Well, in many instances, society brings upon certain negative connotations when you go out on a shopping spree, or maybe you invest in a very expensive coaching program, or do something for yourself that is on the extravagant side. Society oftentimes makes that into something that is a negative, or something that is counterproductive to saving money and to reinvesting money only in your business, and not on yourself or doing anything to indulge.

Well, the problem with that is, is that it’s those little indulgences that give you the opportunity to keep going. It is the opportunity to maybe invest in yourself with a course or something along those lines, that is going to actually allow you to make more money and give you a bigger return on investment. And in many instances, you may find when you start having conversations with others about this, and you start getting their opinions, their opinions are based on their own money blocks, or their own inconsistencies about money, and then that in turn gets transferred over to you, and will start to give you maybe a lack of confidence, or shake your faith in terms of what it is you’re investing in, or maybe it’s something that you’ve already spent and you’re looking at this and you’re going,

I shouldn’t have gone out and bought this new top, even though it makes me feel wonderful. Or even though it’s going to allow me to project a more professional image at the next get together, or the next speaking event that I’m doing. Any of those types of things start to be over weighed by somebody else’s personal opinion about something. So it’s very very important, number one to realize that any opinions that other people have are oftentimes coming from their own insecurities, or their own unsettling nature with their relationship with money, so from that standpoint, the first thing that you want to do is you want to be very careful about taking anybody else’s opinions into consideration.

And the second thing is, is that you want to take a look at the overall benefits and the value that you have received in the spending that you have just done. Again, whether it’s a little spa treatment, or whether it’s some new clothes, a new hairstyle, or something like a business investment, if you look at these things as things that are going to take you further, and going to either enhance your business or create a bigger return on your investment, or make you feel better about yourself, which in and of itself is a return on that investment, then those things become justified. And we’re not suggesting here that you go to the extreme and you spend 24 hours shopping in the mall and online, but these little things that you do that are big improvements in your life, are the things that you want to strive for, and welcome into your life guilt-free.
