I Challenge You To...Take A Moment To Self-Care

Welcome to the video series that’s all about climbing the ladder of vibration and manifesting the life of your dreams. I’m Stephanie Mulac, and today, we’re going to talk about self-care.

And what I want to share with you is, I want you to take a moment and write down five things that you enjoy doing and make you relax, de-stress, put you in a peaceful state, allow you to kind of check out from the stress of the world or things that are going on around you. And I want you to keep those five things with you perhaps on a notepad or in the notes on your phone. And at least once a week to start, and I would like to see you work up to at least two to three times a week doing this. But commit to me right now that at least once a week, you’re going to look at this list, pick something from that list, and within an eight-hour period of when you glance at the list, make an opportunity for yourself. And I say make the opportunity because it’s going to take a concerted effort for you to set aside some time, block out the world around you, and put things on hold.

The world, trust me, will keep going on. It will not end if you take this little amount of time for self-care and to indulge in something on that list that is going to put you in that relaxed state or give you an opportunity to unwind or mentally adjust to things that are going on around you that might have become overwhelming to you for the week. And just do this for yourself because it’s these little items of self-care that are going to make such a huge difference.

And it doesn’t have to be expensive. It doesn’t have to. A lot of times, when you talk about self-care, people are like, well, I don’t have a couple hundred dollars to go to the spa, or to get my nails done on a frequent basis, or to have my hair done, or whatever the case might be, or even to get away for a week and go rest and check out from the rest of the world. It doesn’t take something that extreme or that expensive to do something little for yourself that is going to give you an opportunity to check out, indulge, and feel better about yourself. And you’re going to emerge on the other side of this weekly task that you’re doing feeling so much better and so much more in control, focused, clear. And it’s going to make such a difference.
